About

Hi, I'm Mike Romo. I'm an actor in Los Angeles by way of New York and San Francisco. I trained at American Conservatory Theater (Summer Training Congress) and earned a theater degree at Santa Clara University. My earliest work was on stage; today it's mostly on-camera and voiceover, with the occasional hosting gig or presentation. I still miss doing plays (especially Shakespeare), so who knows? Maybe one day I'll get back to working the Bard on the boards.

Along the way I've had "regular" jobs in a variety of industries, nearly all of which involved crawling under a desk to plug something in at least once a week: IT Director at Lee Hunt Associates in Tribeca, internal communications at Razorfish in SoHo, Internet security products at Symantec (where I also hosted a talk show), and film, games and technology at Six Foot.

Today I lead consulting services at DDM, where we help companies navigate the business of video games, from launching new IP to investing in emerging developers and technology partners. Learn more about DDM.

When I'm not working, I play music (a few mixes are on SoundCloud), draw, struggle with watercolors, play games (it's research!) and dance.
